Mlive’s running one of their “best” of statewide contests – this time it’s donuts.
Regional champs go on to face others around the state. Voting just kicked off for the Grand Rapids area and both Donut Garden and Rise Authentic Baking Co. are vying for the West Michigan title.
Rise is not only all vegan but also gluten and soy free.They’ve become an “old” favorite since they opened their storefront on the city’s westside in February of 2019.
Donut Garden is a newcomer but not any less awesome. If you haven’t had their donuts yet, make sure you check them out at the Fulton Street Farmers Market on Wednesdays and Fridays.
